BOHEMIAN NATIONAL HALL
321 E 73rd St · New York, NY 10021The Bohemian National Hall has been an important center for Czech and Slovak culture in New York City for more than one hundred years. Since its beginnings, it has served as a focal point for its community, offering ethnic food, and Czech language and history classes as well as space for its large community to meet and hold various events. Today, the Bohemian National Hall represents a significant reminder of the major working-class ethnic enclave that once flourished in Yorkville and stands as a monument to an important aspect of the history of immigrants in New York City and the United States.

16 Gramercy Pk S, New York, NYThe Players, founded in 1888 by the celebrated American actor Edwin Booth, is one of New York City’s most storied private clubs. Housed in a National Historic Landmark on Gramercy Park, The Players was envisioned as a gathering place where actors and leading figures in the arts, literature, and public life could meet on equal terms. Over its 135-year history, it has hosted legendary cultural figures, preserved Booth’s own apartment and library, and maintained traditions such as its renowned testimonial “Pipe Nights.” Today, The Players remains a vibrant center for artists and arts lovers, combining a deep sense of theatrical history with the warmth, conviviality, and creative spirit that have defined it since its founding.
